Can a global seed vault storing potentially all of the world's biodiverse seeds be effective? Isn't this a bit counter-productive? I'm imagining a violent-threatened world of only bombs, ash, and debris fill the land except for this one seed vault that comes to rescue. Not the prettiest picture, huh?
